My work with agencies is personal and hands-on. Helping agencies present themselves in differentiating, compelling ways, was the genesis of my practice 20 years ago prior to co-founding MorganAnderson Consulting. 

Today I offer customized "best practice" services in two primary areas: helping agencies be more productive in their new business efforts and tackling client retention issues with solutions-based techniques that help surface those areas most in need of repair or enhancement. 

new business development and positioning work sessions

This work begins with a "fearless inventory” of the agency’s strengths and shortcomings, reviewing and improving agency positioning and differentiation, tackling lead generation (or not), better managing the challenge of RFIs (including the do’s and don’ts)  as well as those pesky compensation questionnaires. My work can also include a live new business presentation review and critique.

client retention work sessions

This work is preferably done with your client but can also be conducted without. It is a study of "best practices" and is about your agency's work practices viz a viz your client's and how best to repair faltering relationships and enhance healthy ones. The Client Retention process too begins with a "fearless inventory" requiring openness, integrity, and the courage to look deeply at where you are weak and where you are strong. We examine "best practices" for highly regarded client companies based on formal studies, and will codify your agency's 'best practices' for its clients.  The Partnership Performance Agreement is another core tool utilized to ground the process in pragmatism as well as capture the spirit of what your agency is and the root values on which it stands and wishes to grow.
